Will one car hold us?

Choose your numbers, and we name the class that takes you — and how many cars you need if one will not.

A suitcase ready by the door

Real cases, measured numbers

The question we are asked most, and the one this market answers least clearly. Our figures were measured in our own cars rather than copied from a manufacturer's catalogue.

What the two numbers mean

What counts as a suitcase

The case you check in at the airport. Cabin bags, handbags and laptop bags are not counted; they travel with you on the seats.

Seats do not include the chauffeur

A Family Van seats seven passengers and the chauffeur, not seven including him.

The boot is counted full

The third row of the Family Van is still usable with all eight cases loaded. We measure seats and luggage together, never one without the other.

If one car will not hold you

We say so. The quotation then lists the number of cars and a chauffeur for each of them, under a single total.

What happens when you send us the numbers

One request, one quotation

Several cars and several services travel on the same request — a chauffeur by the day, an airport arrival, a hotel and a flight through our partners — and come back as one itemised quotation.

You reserve a class, not a named car

Every car in a class meets the seats and the suitcases shown below. Yours is assigned the day before you travel, and its plate and photograph reach you with the chauffeur's details.

The figure does not move after you accept it

The quotation is written and itemised. Anything additional appears inside it, never after it.

Know your chauffeur before you meet

The day before your journey, one message reaches you: the chauffeur’s name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.

  • We do not publish photographs of our chauffeurs. We publish their names, their years of service, the languages they speak, and written standards you can read.
  • The chauffeur’s number opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
  • If the chauffeur or the car changes for any reason, a new message reaches you before the appointment.
