Two times, and the one you should plan around
Every route page carries two figures. The first is the drive itself. The second is the one to plan your day around, and it is the one our quotations are built on.
- The clear-road time is the drive alone, with no traffic and no stop.
- The door-to-door time adds the checkpoints, the rest stops at 10 to 15 minutes each, and the streets at both ends.
- Times are measured from central Cairo. A pickup from Heliopolis or from the airport changes the first half hour, and the quotation says so.
- The chauffeur arrives 15 minutes before the appointed time, so the clock starts when you are ready and not before.
- We count generously. A time we give you is one we expect to beat.

You reserve a class, not a named car. The specific car is assigned the day before, and its plate and photograph reach you with the chauffeur's details.

Know your chauffeur before you meet
The day before your journey, one message reaches you: the chauffeur’s name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.
- We do not publish photographs of our chauffeurs. We publish their names, their years of service, the languages they speak, and written standards you can read.
- The chauffeur’s number opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
- If the chauffeur or the car changes for any reason, a new message reaches you before the appointment.
What travellers ask before a long drive
Are the tolls and the rest stops charged separately?
No. The quotation covers the car, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls and the rest stops. Anything else that applies to your journey is itemised in the same quotation.
How soon will I have a price?
A written, itemised quotation within 15 minutes, between 09:00 and 23:00 Cairo time.
Can one request cover more than one journey?
Yes. A single request may hold several services and several classes of car, and one itemised quotation covers all of it.
When do I learn who is driving?
The day before. One message carries the chauffeur's name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.
What if we have to cancel?
No charge up to 24 hours before the journey. After that, half the quoted amount.
Tell us the road and the date
Name the route, the date and how many of you there are. A written, itemised quotation follows within 15 minutes during working hours, and every figure you will be charged is written in it.
