1. What we provide

A car with a chauffeur.

• The service. Every booking is a car and the chauffeur who drives it. A car is never handed over on its own, under any arrangement.
• A class, not a named car. You reserve a class of car. The particular car is assigned the day before the journey, and its plate and photograph reach you together with the chauffeur's name and number.
• One request, one quotation. A single request may hold several services and several classes of car at once. One itemised quotation covers all of it, and one approval confirms all of it.
• Hotels and flights. Hotel and flight arrangements are made through our partners. Any line of a quotation arranged through a partner is marked as such on the line itself.

2. The quotation

It stands as it was sent.

• What you receive. A written, itemised quotation, normally within 15 minutes between 09:00 and 23:00 Cairo time. Each service and each class of car appears as its own line.
• The price does not move. The price we send is the price you pay. Anything chargeable appears as a line in the quotation itself, never after it, and never on the day.
• Approval. The booking is confirmed when you approve the quotation, and not before. A written confirmation carrying a reference number follows the approval.
• Validity. A quotation holds for the dates written on it. Once approved, its prices and its terms are fixed for that journey and cannot be altered by us.

3. Waiting

What is included, and what is not.

• At the airport. 60 minutes of waiting are included, counted from the moment the aircraft lands, not from the scheduled arrival time. We follow the flight number you give us, so a delayed aircraft needs no message from you.
• In the city. 15 minutes of waiting are included at each pickup point.
• Beyond that. Further waiting is charged at the hourly figure written in your quotation. We charge nothing that is not written in that quotation.
• Extending on the day. A journey may be extended while it is running, at the figure written in the original quotation. You are told that figure before the extension begins.

4. Cancellation and change

• Cancellation. Free up to 24 hours before the appointed time. After that, half the value of the journey is due.
• Moving a time or a route. Tell us and we change it at no charge, provided a car and a chauffeur are available. Where none is available we say so at once rather than leave it open.
• If we do not arrive. Where we fail to arrive at the appointed time through our own fault, you are not charged for that journey.

5. The chauffeur

The rules he works under.

• Arrival. He is at the pickup point 15 minutes before the appointed time.
• His number. It opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
• Rest. A chauffeur has at least 9 hours of rest before any night journey, and never drives more than 6 consecutive days. Where a request cannot be met inside that rule we say so and propose another time. We do not set the rule aside on request.
• Commission and stops. He takes no commission from any shop, hotel or restaurant, and the car makes no shopping stops.

6. Liability

• The car and the chauffeur. Every car is insured and every chauffeur licensed. Documents are checked before a car is put on a journey, and a car whose papers have lapsed is not dispatched.
• What we answer for. We answer for the journey you booked: the car, the chauffeur and the time. Where we fall short, we do not charge you for it.
• What we cannot answer for. Road closures, weather, aircraft delays and acts of authority are beyond our control. Our obligation in those cases is to keep your journey moving by whatever reasonable means exist, and to tell you at once and plainly.
• Property left in the car. Anything left behind is logged, held, reported to you within two hours and returned to its owner at no charge.
• Conduct. A chauffeur may end a journey where the law is being broken, or where the safety of anyone in the car is at risk.

7. Law and jurisdiction

• Governing law. These terms, and every booking made under them, are governed by the law of the Arab Republic of Egypt.
• Jurisdiction. The courts of Cairo, Arab Republic of Egypt, have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
• Corporate accounts. A company holding a monthly account is additionally bound by the payment terms agreed in writing before its first journey.
• The company. George Car for Vehicle Rental. Commercial register 000000, tax card 000-000-000, transport licence 000000. Cairo, Egypt.

8. Questions

Ask before you approve, not after. These terms take effect in September 2026 and replace any earlier version. If anything here is unclear, put it to us in writing at info@georgecar.example and you will have a written answer.
