The difference between the two times is the checkpoints and one rest stop. The road is crowded on summer Thursdays from the early afternoon and clear before seven in the morning, which is why we press for an early start. We count generously rather than tightly.
One stop, known before you set off
We stop at the Kilo 110 rest house on the Dabaa road, a little over an hour after setting off. It has a petrol station, clean lavatories, coffee and a prayer room.
- The stop takes 10 to 15 minutes, and it is already counted in the times above.
- With children or elderly passengers the chauffeur stops again, and the price does not change.
- We stop for fuel, prayer and rest, and for nothing else. No shopping stops are added to the route.
This covers the car, the chauffeur, fuel, tolls, the rest stop and 60 minutes of waiting. The full quotation is sent in writing, itemised, before anything is agreed.

The road after dark, on two conditions
The last stretch of the Dabaa road is unlit in places and the turnings off it are easy to miss at night. We drive it after dark when the chauffeur has had his full rest, and we ask for the gate name in advance so that he is not searching for it in the dark with you in the car.
- At least 9 hours of rest before any night drive.
- No chauffeur drives more than 6 consecutive days.
If those conditions cannot be met, we say so and propose another time. We do not send a tired chauffeur.
Know your chauffeur before you meet
The day before your journey, one message reaches you: the chauffeur’s name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.
- We do not publish photographs of our chauffeurs. We publish their names, their years of service, the languages they speak, and written standards you can read.
- The chauffeur’s number opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
- If the chauffeur or the car changes for any reason, a new message reaches you before the appointment.
What travellers ask about this road
When is the road at its worst?
Summer Thursdays, from the early afternoon onwards. Before seven in the morning it is clear, and the difference is close to an hour. We suggest setting off between 06:00 and 07:30.
Can the car stay with us once we arrive?
Yes. Ask for a chauffeur by the day and the car stays for the days you name. It is all itemised in one quotation.
How much luggage will one car take?
The Family Van seats 7 with 8 suitcases, the Minibus 13 with 14. If you are unsure, the fit check settles it in one screen.
What if we are late coming down to the car?
He waits. The chauffeur is at the door 15 minutes before the appointed time; waiting is counted from the appointed time itself, and the first 60 minutes of it are already in the price.
