Clear-road estimates, late at night or on a Friday morning; the second is a weekday evening. On such an evening, New Cairo to Sheikh Zayed often takes over two hours.
The right airport, and the right hour
- Check which airport you land atSome Gulf flights, flydubai's among them, land at Sphinx, west of Giza, not at Cairo International: the two are over 60 km apart. Since February 2026, Jeddah flights have also used Capital International, to the east.
- The terminal first, then the hallCairo International has Terminals 1, 2 and 3 and a seasonal building; Terminal 1 has several arrivals halls. In August 2023 Hall 1 closed and its flights moved to Hall 3, so we fix the meeting point by terminal and hall.
- Friday morning, Thursday nightFriday is the weekly day off, and its morning is the lightest daytime window of the week: the time to cross the city from east to west. In 2025 measurements, 11 pm on Thursday was the busiest late-night hour.
- Autumn is slower than summerIn 2025 the heaviest month was February, followed by September to December. The lightest were June and March, which was Ramadan. Autumn conferences are therefore timed with a wider margin.
From both airports to the Smart Village
- Cairo International AirportIn the arrivals hall of your flight's terminal, at the point we agree with you. Every step from aircraft to car is in our Cairo arrivals guide.
- Sphinx International AirportIn the arrivals hall, at the point we agree. The airport is on the Cairo–Alexandria desert road near Sheikh Zayed, 43–46 km from central Cairo, so give your address with the flight number.
- Nile Corniche and Zamalek hotelsAt the hotel entrance, anywhere on the Corniche from Garden City in the south to Ramlet Boulaq in the north, or in Zamalek. The chauffeur is there 15 minutes before your time.
- Compounds in New Cairo and Sheikh ZayedAt your door if the compound lets the car in, otherwise at the gate. If the gate asks for the chauffeur's name and the car's plate, both are in the message sent the day before.
- The Smart Village, on the desert roadAt your building. A 9:00 meeting there from Zamalek or Downtown is timed for the peak: westbound from Lebanon Square, the 26th of July Corridor is among Cairo's most congested weekday roads.
The chauffeur can meet you at any address between the New Capital and New Cairo in the east and Sheikh Zayed and 6th of October City in the west: Heliopolis, Nasr City, Maadi, Downtown, Garden City, Zamalek, Dokki and Mohandessin among them.
Choose by passengers and suitcases
A day of meetings between the east and west of the city needs no more than the Luxury Sedan. A family crossing the city from Sphinx to New Cairo with its suitcases will be more comfortable in the Family Van.

Know your chauffeur before you meet
The day before your journey, one message reaches you: the chauffeur’s name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.
- We do not publish photographs of our chauffeurs. We publish their names, their years of service, the languages they speak, and written standards you can read.
- The chauffeur’s number opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
- If the chauffeur or the car changes for any reason, a new message reaches you before the appointment.
Questions on Cairo's roads and timings
We land at Sphinx from Dubai and are staying in New Cairo.
The two are more than 70 km apart, right across the city, so the drive depends on the hour you land: much shorter late at night than in the evening rush. Waiting at Sphinx works as at Cairo International: 60 minutes free from the actual landing.
A morning meeting in the New Capital, then dinner in Zamalek.
One car and chauffeur for the day covers both. The New Capital, its official name since November 2025, is 64–65 km from Downtown by road. Any hours beyond the agreed day appear in the quotation as a written line before you approve it.
We arrive during Ramadan. What changes?
Ramadan traffic in 2025 was among the year's lightest, except the hour before iftar, when the Ring Road at Maryoutia, the Corniche from Maadi and the 6th of October and 15th of May bridges fill. We avoid that hour. Ramadan 2027 should begin around 8 February.

Every car runs to one written schedule, followed by one coordinator. The road to New Cairo often uses Salah Salem, one of the city's worst weekday bottlenecks, so departures are set earlier. More in conferences and delegations.
