The airport is about 5 km southwest of El Dahar and about 11 km by road from Sakkala. The upper figure in each range allows for traffic in town.
Two airfields, a gate and a long road
- Two terminals at HurghadaThe second-busiest airport in Egypt after Cairo, it handled more than 11 million passengers in 2025, across two terminals. Give the terminal with your flight number if you know it, and the meeting point will be in the right hall.
- El Gouna has its own airstripEl Gouna Airport is an airstrip for private and light aircraft, with no scheduled flights. If your aircraft lands there rather than at Hurghada, say so in the request, so that the chauffeur is at the right airfield.
- Soma Bay is further than it looksThe last 7 km is a private road with a single gate. We therefore allow 40 to 60 minutes from the airport, not the clear-road time the map apps show.
- The Cairo road sometimes closesOn 25 March 2026 the Zafarana–Hurghada road was closed both ways when a dust storm cut visibility to zero. If a closure falls on your travel day, the flight takes about an hour and the chauffeur meets you at Hurghada airport.
At the airport, the marinas and El Mamsha
- Hurghada International AirportInside arrivals at your terminal. The chauffeur stands at one place agreed in advance, and his name and number reach you the day before.
- Sakkala, Sheraton Road, Hurghada MarinaAt your hotel's door or the marina entrance you name. Sakkala around Sheraton Road is the busiest part of town, so the door is agreed before the pickup.
- El Gouna: Abu Tig and the New MarinaAt the hotel, or at the marina you name, with the chauffeur there 15 minutes early.
- El Mamsha and Sahl HasheeshAt your hotel's entrance anywhere along El Mamsha, about 6 km long, or on the bay at Sahl Hasheesh, south of the airport.
- Makadi and SafagaAt the address in your request. Makadi is 30 to 40 minutes from the airport, Safaga 40 to 55.
Your address is enough anywhere in town: El Dahar, Sakkala, El Ahyaa and El Mamsha; south along the coast as far as Safaga; and north to El Gouna, 20 to 25 km from Hurghada.

Know your chauffeur before you meet
The day before your journey, one message reaches you: the chauffeur’s name and number, the car photographed with its plate, and the pickup time.
- We do not publish photographs of our chauffeurs. We publish their names, their years of service, the languages they speak, and written standards you can read.
- The chauffeur’s number opens two hours before pickup and closes when the journey ends.
- If the chauffeur or the car changes for any reason, a new message reaches you before the appointment.
Before you reach the Red Sea
We are staying in El Gouna. What do you need from us?
Only the address. The chauffeur's name and the plate reach you the day before, and you can pass them to your hotel or host if they ask for them. From Hurghada airport the drive is 30 to 45 minutes.
We spend the winter here. Can one chauffeur stay with us the whole time?
Yes, on a monthly agreement. No chauffeur works more than 6 consecutive days, and anything to do with his own stay appears as a written line in the quotation before you approve it. See a chauffeur by the month.
We would like to drive back to Cairo.
The drive takes 5:30 to 6:15 door to door. A night drive is given only to a chauffeur who has had 9 hours of rest beforehand. The price and the road in detail are on the route page.
